There's been a whole lot happening, so I hope you have time to browse around the site.  Having won the Rudy Brandsma Award for Excellence in Songwriting at the 2007 Australian Songwriter's Awards, we've been going practically non-stop.  The album released since "Light of Hope"  (an album of songs written by me and produced by my partner Scott Lloyd Shelly and sung by various artists) is now available on iTunes or on the Meat Pie Music website (my publishing business)

Songs are available individually or as the complete album with a PDF of the 12 page color booklet.

"Talking to Ghosts" from the album, performed by Vanya, gained second place in the ballad section, of the 2008 Australian Songwriter's Awards.

"Come Cryin' To Me" performed by Texas husband and wife team "The Mateki's" has been receiving international airplay across the European world.  Playlists include England, France, Belgium, Poland, New Zealand, The Netherlands, New York, and so many other cities and countries.

The track performed by Candice Long, "Why Did You Go" is currently being rotated on "Women of Substance" radio, a part of Radio 365, the world's largest internet streaming radio network.  "Women of Substance" is based in California.

As many of you know, Anthony Snape is doing amazing things in the States, touring with Tommy Emmanuel.  Anthony sings the first track on the album, the track that won the Rudy Brandsma Award, "So This Is Life".  Truely worth a listen.

Please check out the Meat Pie Music site, and purchase a song or two, or the whole album.  A percentage of sales goes to the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group.  A fund has been set up, called the "Light of Hope" fund, and for every $1200 we raise, a volunteer can be trained by the Australian Professional Councillors Association, which gives them a degree in councilling and the opportunity of paid work enableing them to help those in need professionally. 

We have already raised enough money for one volunteer.
